It's on sale right now. What exactly is the purpose of this? I am some what interested since you can put 5 drives in 3 bays O.O compare to my icage from TT with 3 drive 3 bay. I really don't get the whole idea of expansive server swappable HDD cages. I can hardly imagine myself carrying a bare drive in my bag without breaking it or expect the place you go to have a dock.

It's for hot-swap capability and easy disk replacement. It's convenient for those with large servers to replace hard drives without having to open the case up.

Oh.. I see. Any idea where I could find regular 3 to 4 HDD bay cage with minimal features?

Actually I meant 5 to 3, as 4 to 3 is common.
