anyone had problem with Samsung F1 drives dropping from the array?

I have 2 F1 750GB connected an an ich7r (and now ich9r) and it seems one of the drives likes to drop from the array regularly. It degrades the array so I had to rebuilt several times.

does anyone had similar problems?

Samsung F1's have known compatibility issues with raid controllers, the one symptom of it is that they drop from your array. There are some tweaks, but your best bet is to keep them off that controller and see if you can find a controller that they will play with, otherwise keep them JBOD.
