Hey guys
For my netbook, size is not an issue.
What is the fastest SSD HDD for less than $300?

Thanks

G.Skill Titan series has a 128Gb for a little under $300 that reads around 200 MB/s and writes over100 MB/s

I believe most netbooks use mini PCI-E for the SSD interface.. so you got to check to see if what you buy will work in your system.

Edit: Crucial has a page dedicated to helping with this.. (sells their product, but from that you can figure out what you need) http://www.crucial.com/netbook/index.aspx

Would the G. Skill SSD work in a standard laptop (X61S - uses a 2.5" drive)?

The acer aspire one hard drive version has sata and uses a normal laptop hdd so a 2.5" ssd will work with it.
