So one of my seagate 7200.11 500gb drive just died the second one is still working but.. i dont know if i want to continue using it. The bad drive had been making "clicking" noise for the past week but i thought it was something else. Now it's not even detected in the bios and im thinking its the same problem that has been occurring with these drives recently. any advice on if i can get it to unbrick other then contacting seagate?

Why in the world are all of these 7200.11 Seagate drives failing? I have the 500GB 7200.10 and those are much more reliable it seems. I've been a fan of Seagate for some time, but all of these recent problems have made me switch to Western Digital.
