Hey guys I'm gonna have a water cooling setup in the next week or so and need some help figuring out fan control for my rads.

I'm going to have a 120x4 or 480 rad in push/pull config. So basicly I need to control the speed of 8 fans. What I want to do is basicly have one control knob to control the speed of all 8 fans, and I'd like all 8 fans to be spinning at the same speed to balance the air flow through the rad.

I'm assuming I'd need some sort of power distribution board or block that is powered from the psu, problem is I have yet to see one that can handle 8 fans, (or even getting 2 that do 4 each) that doesn't cut the power to 8v, 7v, or 5v on 2 or more of the outputs.

Ideally, I want to be able to push max power to the fans when the controller is set to max. I've been reading about how some fan controllers don't seem to allow max rpm when connected. Also, I was hoping that turning the knob all the way to low would cut power fully (or as much as possible) so I can run passive when no load is on.

The other option I suppose would be to just solder all the leads together on the fans and hook it up to a single fan controller, but I'm not sure if this would lead to issues with the rails on a psu?

Any help would be great thanks.
