I was reinstalling the system and building raid, so I copied most important files to drive I ain't using anymore (200gb barracuda 8) - tried to avoid redownloading all the MMO patches and so, along with saving my tv series.
Reinstalled, tried to copy files... "read error of drive E:"... run the norton disk doctor, didn't help. So 5 seasons of Atlantis, half of season f LEgends of Seeker, full collection of mp3 and like 20gb of game patches went into dust.
And no way I'll be paying for data recovery, ain't worth it.
But you sometimes wonder, if all those storage systems ain't falling just specially to irritate you :)
