Full agree with this. Free glue is cool and all, however you can end up ruining whatever you were trying to stick together when the glue expands.

The tape rocks the earth seriously its so good. Just know once you tape something you better have planned on keeping it together forever. As far the expanding glue. Yes I see how that can be a problem in certain situations. But that's why Gorilla Glue is targeted at specific tasks. Its not an end all be all product.

The glue does foam slightly, but it has some serious holding strength on everything but wood-wood connections (wood/carpenter's glues are always better for these adhesions).
Warning: Do not get Gorilla glue in your hair. I worked at HD when a case of it was dropped by UPS. It exploded and the girl working with me was forced to cut her hair. We got most of it out before dry, but the chemicals we used destroyed her hair. Luckily, she was hot even with short hair :D

Use the glue very conservatively, as other posters mentioned it does expand a lot. My roommate used it to attach a patch to one of his audio racks; after it dried, it looked like he had put the patch into a pool of glue. They instruct you to moisten one or both of the surfaces slightly, before applying the glue, which most people forget about.
I've used their tape, as well; it holds quite nicely and is considerably cheaper than black duct-tape, which I can rarely if ever find.

Good point on the black duck tape. I was going to get some at the store and they have the black but right next to it for 80 cents more was the gorilla tape. I went with the gorilla from knowing how good the glue is and have never looked back.

yeah my dad and I use it all the time. If your car window gets broken don't use it though. We used it when my dads back window got broken and there was no problem but it was on there for a day and I was scared that the paint was going to come off, strong strong stuff.
