Vist aupdate issues... help!

When I go to download updates, I get error code 80070246, and the updates fail.
Anyone have any ideas?

While the link above should be able to help get windows update working again I would be suspicious as to what caused the problem if the first place. Now maybe nothing is to blame cause shit does happen. But I would be concerned that you may have fallen victim to a malicious attack on a windows vulnerability or maybe got a virus. Or maybe it could be related to and overclock that really isn't stable and caused the corruption.

Either way I would at least run one of the online virus scanners like house call from Trend Micro.

I'm running TrendMicro IS Pro as it is... I'll look into that link.
I went through MS tech support and so far no dice so far.
