PC is booted up and everything looks to be running well for the most part. I RMA'd my old evga 680i and replaced it with the new evga 680i. Now my CPU usage is at 100% and thats with a Q6600. I'm looking in my task manager and it shows
Image Name ....... User Name ........ CPU ......... Memory ....... Description
.........System ......... System .......... 80% .......... 1,576k ......... NT Kernel & System
I'm confused at why my NT Kernel & System is taking so much of my CPU usage. Prior to my board going, it would idle usually under 15%. I'm running spybot right now and once thats done, I'll run AVAST anti-virus to see if somehow a virus got on my pc.
THe only other thing I can think of is that I just physically installed my LG blue ray burner/HD drive. I haven't installed the software yet, but under my computer it shows the drive.
Any ideas?
