Is it true the blue tooth is not supported currently on 64bit OS's? A co-worker asked me, and I said it would only make since that they were. Thanks.

Edit: Ok, apparaently Dell was telling one of my co-workers that if we ordered an M4400 with a 64bit OS and Blue tooth it would get rejected because, "It's an industry standard that 64bit OS's do not support blue tooth." - Direct quote from Dell rep.

I use Vista x64. I'm typing this right now on a Bluetooth keyboard.

I think someone is misinformed. Yes, 64-bit drivers would have to be available for the adapter in question (mine's Microsoft and needs no drivers installed), but it's absolutely not true that Bluetooth and 64-bit OSes are incompatible.

Vista will use Dell's BT adapter without any issues. I am currently running Vista x64 on a Vostro 1400 and BT is working just fine.

Dell only offers x64 on large business platforms so what the rep prolly told her was there are no 64 bit drivers for that specific machine.
