About two weeks ago I installed Vista Home basic over Windows XP Home on my dual boot machine to finally see what it was all about....the other OS being XP Pro (64bit). I had only one main account under each XP installation... (User/administrator) + one guest, yet Vista will not let me delete the recently removed GRID game directory in (programs-ElectronicArts) or NFS Pro street directory. I was able to remove both games using the add/remove in the control panel, but not the folder/directory. Vista keeps denying me the ability to do so, despite showing my account as the sole administrator. I've tried it in normal and safe mode. The OS (on my system is stable), but does have a few annoyances in terms of interface. This one is very frustrating.

Program Files folder is "protected" so you will have to take ownership of that folder - only after that you can delete Grid and NFS folders.
