I'm about to go home and play with a second 300gb Raptor.
Obviously I will want to make a backup of what is on the single raptor.
Rite now its plugged into the Intel ICH10R Controller. Is there any sense in switching it over to the ASUS Speeding HDD-enabled Silicon Image Controller?
If so, Has anyone tried this Silicon Image controller? Is it better/faster than the Intel ICH10R?
IWill I see any decent performance gains by going Raid 0, or should I just use them as seperate drives for different OS or something?
What is the forums insight?
