Hello,
I just created a clone of my 80gig onto my newly purchased 1 terabyte hard drive and the clone completed successfully but I have one problem. When I go to check my storage size it still lists my previous hard drives capacity. How can I fix this issue? Also I used CloneZilla to create the clone.

You need to expand your existing partition to consume the entire drive. Visit disk manager and expand the remaining space or use a program like partition magic to do it for you.

nvm I figured it out thanks
this is why i like acronis, it can do proportional clones (auto resize partition to fill whole disk), makes it less confusing for users.

Is their any performance loss when partitioning a hard drive?

No, unless if you are using those partitions for other active activities.
