I have a Rocketfish case and I'd like to get a few parts of the case laser etched. I have a few questions though...

1. The laser engraver isn't too big, and as far as size goes, the case door on the Rocketfish is probably the biggest thing I can get engraved. Besides the case door, what other parts of the case do you think are good parts to get engraved? I thought the aluminum PCI fan cover would be a good one as well.

2. What do you think I should get engraved into it? I really don't want to get any company logos on it (Nvidia, ATI, ect...) as I'm probably going to rebuild my system in a few years. Who knows what parts I'm going to be using then? ;)
I've thought of using the symbol for my favorite band, as well as my favorite hockey team's logo. I really don't want to engrave my name...feels a little cliche to me.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You could find a larger engraver... call some signshops that do actual business signs, not just wraps and banners, they will know of someone (usually).

Keep a theme to what you are doing, I would look at galleries on several sites and see what you might come up with. Maybe do your own artwork or design, rather than logos of your "favorites" as they do change with time.

Do what excites you.

I cant say it any better than that. This rule applies to tattoos, hotrods, and photography(sometimes).

Here is the case from one of the owners of www.LaserWarez.com

I wish I had a better photo to show the shading the engraving was able to do.

Also depends on how powerful the laser is. Not powerful enough will never cut enough to make it look good. Good luck though, I think it would be awesome!
