So, I didn't know where to post this so I'll post this here.

I know there are some of you that take your PCs to LANs/Events so on and so forth. How do you take your PC with you when you travel on an airline?

What would you recommend?

When I went to quakecon, I built myself a rig in a silverstone SG02F case and a SUGO bag. It worked out perfectly and the case+bag can be used for carryon (fits on the above storage compartments of a plane, exact dimensions). With the SG02F, you can fit dual video cards, 4 hard drives (if you use bay units) and two optical drives... pretty much everything you need for some serious lan action.

As for the monitor, in my case I bought one there in texas at Fry's, but some of my friends who built the exact same rig, they packed thier monitors in the original boxes and stuffed it in a suitcase. At worse, an extra suitcase is $25.

Use one of the handle things on my Coolermaster 340. For my monitor, it's only 17" so I shove it in my backpack after disassembling it. Then my coolermaster is my carry on and my backpack is my "Bag" i guess you would say.

edit: alot of people do have extra suitcase in which they put the computer or monitor in.
