Project starts with the following:

I have that same case (in black) waiting patiently for some insane project. It's one of the best cases I've ever owned except for wire management.

Well, case has had face lift, cream (ford ivory & VW red) not to all's taste. All comments appreciated.

Your in look, I have one free. That will be one million dollars;)

Have spent another hour on the CPU, getting a better finish. Happier now. Just waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive:)

Well a day spent sorting out my cooling plan. Again and again. But think I've got it.
Two cooling loop, 240 rad and fans top mounted feeding the CPU.
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/Coolin1.jpg
120 rad and fan bottom mounted feeding GPU. Had to cut hole into underside of case for the Tfc rad and spacer.

Cooling feed by Coors and doritos.;)

Slight delay of having to fit a new bathroom for the wife before I could finish, and trust me that was a b******. But were getting there on all fronts.
The cooling was a bit of a pain to fit, trying to get the two loops in there, but managed to squeez them in.
First loop from a twin rad under the top to a swiftech res and pump for the e8400

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/th_IMG_1014.jpg (http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/IMG_1014.jpg)

Second loop will feed the GPU. A TFC single rad and shroud from underneath the case. This goes to a XSPC 750 dual pump and res to a EK water block for the 4870

Better pic of the Rad for the GPU and fan underneath.
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/IMG_1017.jpg
OK, now for the GPU, using a Sapphire HD4870 with EK-FC4870 4870 CF block. Removing the h&f was easy enough.
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/IMG_1018.jpg
A pain was fitting the TIM and thermal pads.
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/IMG_1021.jpg
but once done fitted into place. Had problems with the X20 compact pump, so replaced with XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir Pump, I thought it was a bit of over kill for just the GPU, as I had all ready sorted out the CPU loop, but now very happy with it. Will confirm all temps when testing.

System all charged and purged, time for tidy up and and power up

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/IMG_1035.jpg
Although I did give myself a scare when the GPU would work, untill a realised I needed to fit the ATX cable  Dumbass.
Before pics again, she was an ugly beast

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/th_Old1.jpg (http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/paddi70/PC/Old1.jpg)
So far the noise is excellent, very little unlike before. and the EK water block has impressed me the most with temps up to 41 with auto tune of GPU clock 840 and mem 1180. Have it set at 820 and 1140and passes 3D Mark Vantage.
Now to start OC the CPU. Cheers P

Good job! It looks really great. The only thing I'm wondering is why the red paint on the case looks dusty?
