For some time now, I've been trying unsuccessfully to order official, genuine Vista 64 SP1 retail media. I've read through every post in here on the subject, but all the proposed answers have been fruitless in my case.

To get some things out of the way:
I don't have a Technet sub and I don't have an MSDN sub. I don't have a sub of any type.
I want the SP1 media because I occasionally reinstall Vista and would rather do so with a "slipstreamed" version.
I purchased Vista Ultimate retail when it first came out (RETAIL, >not< upgrade, so 64-bit SP0-level media was already in the box).
I later purchased a Vista Ultimate retail key (part # 66R-00681). Note that this was JUST an "online additional license key". I can pull up a record of this purchase. However, this did NOT originate from Windows Marketplace. This distinction will prove critical.I have tried two ways to obtain/purchase the 64-bit SP1 DVD media. The first via:

http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/content.aspx?ctId=444

which gives me the dreaded, "We're sorry, the following error(s) have occurred: No Offer Found" message for BOTH keys. Nothing shows up in my digital locker, which makes sense considering I didn't purchase anything from Windows Marketplace. And...

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx

which only gives me the option to purchase, "Windows Vista Ultimate with SP1 32-bit CD - English". I've again tried BOTH keys.

I want to obtain the media from MS, pure and simple. I don't want to root around trying to find someone that already physically has it or someone that has ISO access to the image via an MSDN or Technet sub. I just want to buy the 64-bit SP1 media from MS. I don't understand why this has become so damn difficult. I even called MS and finally gave up after being bounced around to seven or eight different phone numbers (no one seemed to understand what sort of license I had nor what I wanted).

If anyone could point me in the right direction here, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

If you've gone through all that and you're still dead in the water, the advice still holds:

Make your own slipstreamed SP1 DVD. It's relatively easy, using vLite, and inside of 1 hour you'll have an installation DVD that is pretty much byte-for-byte identical to the one that Microsoft would send you, but without the pretty hologram finish and the cost.
