Is it possible to get a VLK for Word 2007?

I don't need office but 2008 Terminal Services must have a VLK and I'm not sure if Word 2007 can be bought as a VLK.

I'd ask whoever you're buying it from.
You can buy Office in VLK, I don't see a reason why Word can't.

What is the benefit of running programs through TS? Is it so you have more control over cost/licenses, so you don't have to pay to have it installed on machines that are not using it. Also, in cases where multiple users use the same machine, so they don't have access to software they don't need/should see?

Kinda don't see what you would want to bother with TS when you can just install it on the workstation, unless what I pointed out is a reason.

because I run multiple sites from one location ;) but there are many other reason as well.

I think you may need to read up on Terminal Services a bit.

Serious?

Anyway OP, call who ever handles your licensing and aske them if you can get just Word in VLK. You may need to get office basic which is word, excel, an outlook

That may be your only choice.
