Already activated, why is it asking me again?

I activated my Vista 64 for the first time a few days ago "over the phone." Today it's tells me to activate--27 days left.

Did you change videocard drivers, or updated bios to motherboard?If he did something that would effect the has and make him reactivate, it would give him 30 days again, I believe. I've only had it happen once so I don't remember.

OP, when you get the new number over the phone, that # should work again, unless it's locked to just 1 activation. Normal #'s can usually be activated as much as you want. At least, with XP they could, can't say with Vista since I haven't tried activating mine more than once.

I updated the firmware to my dvd drive and had to reactivate afterwards .. :rolleyes:
