Ok so i have a 750w Corsair PSU brand new bought it when i was building my new rig
P5q Deluxe, Q6600, 4gb Corsair Dominator, Asus 4850 OC'd to 3.6ghz
Runs perfect thats not the case my problem is the insane amount of cables i have to tie up to the back of my computer... that prohibit me from closing the back lid... its been an ongoing struggle with this thing if i wanna keep the front clean... i have to tie them up in the back but i cant close my case... so ived just decided to get a modular PSU that can support this Rig.
Any suggestions? im trying to spend $150 tops since i plan to sell the one i currently have any suggestions?

That's a pretty impressive overclock on that video card. ;)
620HX will do just fine.

+1 for the Corsair 620HX. Check buy.com or zipzoomfly.com for the 620HX. Newegg overcharges on the 620HX.

+1 on that, and Corsair's customer service is excellent, so you don't really need newegg's level of customer service.

+2, although the HX520 would work as well (you're probably pulling about 300W).

I've been using Hx620 and its runs rock solid *touch wood* .. So you can buy it without a second thought.
You can also try Tagan 700w Modular PSU for 130$ from Directron with $25 MIR which will end up costing you 115$.
BTW, Bestbuy had Corsair 1000w PSUs for around 160$ on sale. They lasted only few mins .. lol

Have one of these, there great PSUs. Only bad thing is if you want extra cabling for graphics cards they tell you to upgrade to a stronger PSU, that means buying a new one:mad:

well its not really modular since aside from the 24pin cable theres api cables that i DONT plan to use except perhaps to the videocard and thats it... i have to sort out my cable issues on my rig atm damn back side case wont even close
But thanks for the info guys if i have to buy one i'll probably end up replacing my current one with the 620 :)
