My Ram is Patriot value 6400 and I'm running it at 415mhz X 7 = 2904mhz. I'm unable to hit above this stable. Any suggestions?

- Is that a 4x1GB or 2x2GB setup?
- What HSF are you using?
- Are you running the RAM and FSB at a 1:1 ratio.
- What PSU are you using?

RAM volts?

Ram volts 2.1 - anything higher, it won't post.
Cpu volts at 1.2

Do I need to purchase faster Ram? I see people with similar setups using DDR800 getting up to 3.2 ghz and I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Also - I get BSOD memory dump when clock it to 3.0 ghz (428 x 7)

Hmm, take out two sticks of RAM and then try 3Ghz. You do run into overclock limitations when you're overclocking with 4 sticks of RAM and are going past their stock speeds. So just try out two sticks of RAM.

And increase the vCore. The max vCore is 1.5V so you still have some headroom.

had that problem too. 2.9 was the highest no matter what volts i pump into it. Any way it's fast enough, i changed to an e6600 a short time after and that was that.

I agree. However, you are running your RAM higher than its rated speed, so it's very possible they just won't go any faster. In such a case, you'd be better off upgrading your CPU than buying new RAM (an E7200 can be found for around $120 and is a much better overclocker than your current chip).
