Hey guys i bought a sata western digital 250gb harddrive and got it running on my pc its only running at 137 gb's does anyone know what this could be from?

because i was thinking about building that same system with 4 hd 4870's or two hd 4870x2's depending on if the two 4870x2's run in pci e 8x or 16x

the only config u could run on my board to get the most performance would be 2 4870x2 or 2 4870 and 1 4850 as the last pcie slot is only for a single slot card.

besides im not recommending current phenoms. in fact i just built a buddy of mine a q6600 system. :o

I thought they made it so you could hook up 4 hd 4870s since it being the whole spider thing 4 cpus and 4 gpus

Also i am not a in love with the phenomaly slow x4's amd made either but on the up sid the 9950 is almost out and listed on a few websites maybe that might be a little more promiseing.

u could use that board but mine only has 3 pcie slots
