Okay, so what's the difference between these two drives? They're the same size, cache, etc... The only thing I noticed was the average seek time being 0.3ms faster on the "RK".

ST3750640AS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148134&Tpk=ST3750640AS)
ST3750640ASRK (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0249512)

I have a non "RK" version of this in my case that I would like to raid with an identical one, however, I can't see the difference but will it still work well in a RAID-0? I'd pay the extra 10 bucks because I can pickup from Microcenter locally but not if it's going to be different... Anyone?

I believe the only difference is NCQ (Native Command Queuing)

EDIT: O and the RK is 7200.11 so thats why it is a lil faster access time just cause its a newer generation drive.

All that said I personally would not hesitate from running raid on it for workstation or non-mission critical systems, then again I never do RAID without backups.

RK means retail kit, they're the same drive.
