On my moms compaq presario desktop the boot screen that says "compaq" only shows up. Then we unplug it and restart a few times it boots fine. She took it to bestbuy because it was under warranty but the problem is still occuring. It kind of gets annoying to have to unplug it and then plug it back in a few times to start it properly.
