Vista automatic updates

Is there any way to set a specific kind of update (Windows Defender) to always just install? I like to be prompted so that I know whats going on, but Windows Defender = whatever. It would be nice if that would just do its own thing and autoupdate, because it has updates pretty regularly.

Go into Windows Defender and tell it to update the definitions on the next scan. You'll need to have it set up to auto scan daily, weekly, etc.
