Cannot Drag and Drop Files of ANY kind

Just recently after a clean format i have been having an issue, i cannot drag and drop files,folders on my desktop.. I cant even drag and drop songs into itunes i have searched the vast space of the internet for help but havnt found a fix.

Any Ideas of what i can do?

someone suggested to run the W32.Blaster.Worm.Fix tool from norton so i did and it seemed like it did the trick...but now its back?

what could be causing this ?

The worm probably came back. Do you have a hardware or software based firewall?

have one just not installed...its zone alarm but are there any other ones that maybe better? Im not really up on firewalls

Along with not being able to drag and drop my mouse sometimes goes wacky and such..

ive run AV and adaware found nothing

You said you just did a clean install....did you check to see that you are running with any of the Service Packs installed?

Sounds like you did a clean install of XP without any Service Packs.....
