Problem while installing XP 64bit on my Raptor

just bought a raptor from a member on here, this is the problem I'm having:





I reformatted the drive, while setting up, it's saying:


Setup cannot copy the file conf.exe

Ensure that the disk labeled "Unknown" is in the drive selected below, or provide the location where it can be found.


Do you know what's going on ?


It's also giving me an error about some F:\amd64 crap...

I'm not new to computers, and I know how to reformat, but I've never had this problem before.

btw - the setup completes anyways, but I can't open up Internet Explorer, and when it boots up, the tool bar remains frozen for about 10 minutes. I can't even click start menu.

Run some hard drive diagnostics: WesternDigital Lifegaurd tools, and hdtools come to mind
check your installation media it may be damaged.
