3008WFP and a Geforce 8800 GTX

Will this combo produce 2560x1600 resolution via dual-link DVI outputs? The 8800 specs say that is does, but here and there I've seen posts that state it does not.

Any confirmation one way or the other?

I have the same setup gainward 8800gtx and dell 3008wfp it works without problem at 2560x1600.

Thanks! I'm really leaning to the 3008... gonna wait until the 3007 is discontinued and hope the price drops to $1300ish.

Yeah, dell seems to have issues with them. They pulled it off their sites.

It doesn't look like it's on hold anymore I ordered it 2 weeks ago and dell website told me I had to wait almost 3 month but I just received it at the end of last week so it actually took a little bit less than 2 week to receive the 3008.It's also version A01 made in republic czech.
