Dell: Memtest fails and Diagnostics pass

I've got a Dell system that sometimes will crash and will hang when logging in. I decided to test the RAM with the Dell diagnostic CD and everything passes. However, I put in a Memtest disc and it fails after about 2 or 3 seconds. Does the diagnostic CD just suck or what?

Which version of Memtest? 2.0 had errors, and so did one older one, I suggest you try with the newest.

Dell = FAIL
