Only saw one old thread on this one thought I'd open a new one.

I beat it last night with my buddy and while I can see how the single player would suck the co-op on it is fantastic. This game obviously is heavily influenced by gears with less polish to it but is still fun to play with a friend. It's great as a rental and will be a good $20 game just to screw around with. We only played one round of multi (which the melee ticked me off) and was wondering what others thought on the multi? It didn't seem really deep to me. I was picturing a more instanced objective type of multi not the continuously running objectives.

Cheers

I think what he was trying to say is that the co-op was quite enjoyable. I would agree.

Multiplayer was a clusterfuck. Thats absolutely the only way I can think of to describe it, crude tho' it may be.

The objectives spawn rapidly and the heads-up pointing us to them was really hard to track. I also hated the fact that there were NPC's spawning all over the place and getting in the way.

It could have been cool but basically just blew.

This game was designed as a co-op single player game first and foremost. In that regard, I would have to say that it definitely succeeded. I'm enjoying it.

we enjoyed the shit out of the co-op campaign. I really think some of the controls could use tightening, but overall, I'd call it a success. It will definitely be something I pick up used at a later date to play again, if not just to try out all the other guns that unlock when you beat it.
