Vista folder view changes

This has started happening recently. When I go to my computer, I see my hard-drives extra as normal size icons and when I browse into them I like to have it on detailed view. It would stay like this normally.

Now it seems like half the time I go to my computer, it is in detailed view and I have to change it to the icon layout. Then I go into those folders and it isn't in detailed view like it was. It is just kinda annoying have to change my view every time I go into my drives. Why does my view keep changing on me?

Also, I did check in my folder options in control panel and "Remember each folder's view" is checked.

While I don't know why, here's a guide (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html) to turning off automatic folder view setting, which should help quite a bit. :)
