MTRON SSD QUESTION BEFORE I BUY

Hi,

If I buy two MTRON MOBI 3000's now, how likely is it to see a significantly faster SSD before june? Can I expect the price to significantly drop on MOBI's by june?

I know Intel made SSD's that do 200MB read and 100MB write but they'll be released at the end of this year and I can't wait that long.

I'm also very curious about mtron mobi. Will probably buy the 32 GB version when I build my new rig in a couple of weeks. I've heard the price will drop in mid 2008. By how much I dont know. If I had to guess I would say a 20% drop in price, but dont take my word for it. It's just a guess!

In case you are thinking about raiding the two mobi's you should know they are not meant for raid and the pro version would perform (scale) better. Altough the pro will be much more expensive.

Personaly, I will not wait any longer than april before i buy.

Everything I have read is 50% price reduction on most SSD's by year end. If you can wait then great, if not shop it an dget it as cheap as you can. Where you thinking of buying it from?

I'm thinking of getting them from dvnation.com but Ill check out your links to see if they are cheaper. I checked EBay but they sell the same if not more than official MTRON distributors INSANE!
