Haven't checked TechNet but it should be up there too.

Only for Technet Plus subscribers :p

My subscription is listed as a Plus, and I don't see it on TechNet yet.

That's odd. The image on MSDN is 1.3GB, and it uses an new download manager. I've just installed it on my main rig and main tablet pc, not a hitch, took about 30 minutes, I didn't really time it, but it seemed fairly fast for a service pack install.

I've not noticed any real difference, save one. Remote Desktop is MUCH faster. I just tested it over my Verizon EVDO REV-A pc card connection, and everything is just much more responsive.

Checked my sub (Technet Direct), and Woooohoooo!!!

For those with Technet, check the lower left corner of the page "Top Subscriber Downloads" on the Technet Subscriptions page. Took me a bit to find, the links are all describing Technet Plus downloads, but it seems that as of February all Technet Subs are Plus members. (I guess?)

Anyway, it's there!

PM if you want an Image. ;)

Edit: Actual image of the Technet web site interface, so that those who PAY, may get an idea of where to look. Not for freeloaders. Probably should remove everything below "It's there!", but my offer still stands for non-freeloaders.

Oh, there it is. Way to hide it MS.

Hi,

I've been waiting for this forever...how can I get an image? Can you host it somewhere? I have an email account (google) but it can only accept 10MB files, heh.

thanks if you can help!

You can wait for public release?

I'm sure it's all over the internet... you just have to look.

Oh really? I can't find it. If it's so easy just post a link to the torrent file that's not a huge ISO of a fresh VISTA install slipstreamed with sp1.

Also, the above poster asked if I wanted sp1 so I said yes; I accidentally posted a thread response instead of PM'ing but your comment seems useless to me.

It does seem to be available. I googled the MD5 hashes and there are a couple of torrent sites that pop up. I'm just going to download it from work on Tuesday since i'm not in a rush.

It is not. all the torrents for SP1 are the old hash (d597866e93bc8f80ecca234c4e9ce5a2)

speaking of the 32 bit version.

can someone upload a torrent of the new SP1 installers? (x86 and 64bit for those that need it)

the one's with the following hash's:
x64 EEAFD59069B0DBB489F7B9CA63DBC678
x86 E230F3DCD78E462DBF1DD538FC70FF2A

Would someone be so kind? this is not warez afterall..

Technically, it would be related to warez, because TechNet software isn't meant to be distributed to non-subscribers. Asking for these things is a great way to have this thread locked.
