is it possible to configure a server to allow multiple signons at a time and have them share a single desktop? i have a server and i need mutiple users to remotely access the server and corroborate. the server runs needs to run certain apps 24/7 and local access for an admin. I'll most likely have the local account logged in 24/7 but i need to give multiple remote users access to the constantly running apps.

it is a windows server. i know windows doesn't have this feature built in, so does any know of/recommend any 3rd party option? the cheaper the better, hehe.

Citrix might be able to do that....Terminal server might also have this capability. They're both not cheap though.

And, even if you don't want to hear that but, it's a baaaaad idea to have multiple users share the same desktop at the SAME time.

UNIX has been able to do this for about 30 years.

On Windows, though, sounds like you want a Terminal Server. Windows Terminal Servers aren't bad per se (about the same in terms of ease of use and setup as LTSP in my experience), but the licensing issues get weird quick.
