Theres been reports of people putting Vista on the EEE. I don't see why not XP.

You might wanna consider asking this on eeeuser.com better community geared more towards the EeePC and better resources. Not to mention handy res and OC tools for the EeePC that are a must.

Yup, I got Windows XP Professional SP3 on mine with some minor tweaks. I often wonder and consider how long the life of my EeePC will be, but then again $400 for something this portable and that has come very handy while working on computers, can't complain. Looks really damn professional in a leather slip, sorta like a day planner, but so much more useful (lots of kudos from higher ups).
