Well Dream Scene works and everything but if I close the lid on my laptop, when I open it back up the background is no longer animated.
Sometimes it even jumps out of areo and I have to re-run the diagnostic to get areo back. Most of the time though only DreamScene seems to be stopped.
Anyw solutions? This is a fresh install and I have all the latest and greates Lenovo X61S Drivers for my laptop.

to be honest, dreamscene has only been buggy for me. always. I have the system tosupport it, but its jjst flaky, and have several bsod's etc. I avoid it these days. Although, I haven't really run it with 64 much, maybe its better?

seems to work fine unless I close my laptop. I also installed DeskScapes to support the .dream format but it has the same problem coming out of sleep. Is it because my vista experience is only a 3.5, my integrated graphics may be holding me back but the screen resolution is only 1024x768 on my 12" laptop so it really probably does not need much to drive it...
There is a couple nice high rez animated backgrounds I like and I have 4Gb in it so I don't care if it eats a little extra mem.
A while back I guess Nvidias drivers didn't play well, if that was the problem you were having. Perhps it is also an issue with my Lenovo drivers I don't know.

check under power settings there will be dreamscene options. By default it turns it off when you goto battery power and such. See if that helps ya.

That didn't fix it but turning off password required on sleep did!
