It seems that my 2007WFP A04 S-IPS has a stuck or dead pixel in the upper left corner. it is hard to describe, but it is sort of a grayish pixel thats most noticable under a white screen. Funny thing is, my A03 S-IPS had the same type of grayish pixel in almost the exact same spot. I ran dead pixel buddy, and it does not look like the examples. The pixel is not completely white. While running dead pixel buddy, I also noticed under a blue screen I have a black stuck pixel. It is only visible under blue, so I would assume this is a stuck pixel, but have no idea what the other grayish one is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 2007wfp has a speck of dust stuck between the LCD and the backlight. If you put the point of your cursor where the dust is, than look at it from the left, the speck will be on the left, and on the right side if you look from the right.

The other one is probably just a dead blue subpixel, so the pixel would appear slightly yellow against white.

I think this might be a hot pixel as it appears white constantly.

my mistake. I read 2407wfp instead of 2007.

2407 has S-IPS panel?

wikipedia says:
Samsung S-PVA LTM240M2-L02, AUO M240UW01 (8-bit)

Where do you see 2407 in this thread?

It may indeed be dust, if it appears multicolored on a white background, or if it moves when you press near it, it most certainly is dust. If on a black screen it stays a certain color, you have a stuck subpixel.
