Hi, I'm planning on drilling a 120mm fan hole on the top of my aluminum case with a hole saw. My only concern is that I only have a pretty cheap Black & Decker 6 amp power drill.
Should I anticipate any problems using this drill to cut through the top of my case?
Thanks,
Dennis

it maybe better if you use a dremel, you can do a nicer job than a huge saw.

HOLE saw, not huge saw.

make sure you have a good quality hole saw, use the drill on its lowest speed setting, put a piece of wood or something under it while you're cutting so you don't deform the case, and you should be fine.

Thanks for the tips...
Do you recommend taking the top off the case and putting it on the wooden board you mentioned, or could I just get away with drilling directly on top of the case?

supporting the metal your cutting through with a solid block of wood will stop it from deforming from the drill pressure and provide a pilot hole if it's the sort of drill bit I'm thinking of.
