I'm preparing a future group buy for the SF800 flowmeter and for this, I will need a molex crimper to install a fan header plug on them and to build the adapter harness.

I don't want to pay a arm and a leg for it since beside this project, it will be collecting dust so I'm wondering if everyone know of a good place to buy them ?

I too am looking for a crimper that is actually designed and known to work for the little 3- or 4-pin fan connectors. I looked through the tools listed at performance-pcs.com, but those are all large crimpers, definitely too large for the little fan connectors.

It would be a plus if the place that sells the crimper also sells the fan plug hardware (pins and plastic thingy) in bulk.

Man, this thread has made me realize that I've done it manually too many times. It's not as secure as when you'd use a crimper either.

Check your local Radio Shack. I got a crimper there for less than $10 that works on the tiny fan wire pins and also the molex pins for power supply wiring.
