Hello folks.

I'm looking for wa new hard drive,I want it to be my main hard drive with OS on it etc. I'm not really interested in a Raptor.

I have a Seagate but I hear that Seagates ain't all that anymore. It's Samsung and Hitachi that are in the game as of now.

I'm looking for a 250 ~ 320 gigger.

Which one could you guys advise me to get? What would be a good SATA HDD?

Thanks

stain.

The seagate 320gb w/ perpendicular recording is pretty snazzy. it runs about $80.

I have nothing but good things to say about Western Digital. My drives are alive and kicking after 6 years.

My Maxtor (was acquired by Seagate) was dead in about 1 year and a half.

the aaks, they are newer, faster, quieter and run cooler, prob faster too because they use denser platters too.
