Well, my 680i board died so I'm replacing it with a P35 board and ditching SLI altogether. However, I had a RAID 0 array on that board and I'm assuming the Intel RAID controller won't recognize it. I'm hoping to pay $20 or so to borrow a mobo with a compatible nVidia RAID controller so I can pull my data off those two drives.
Is there anybody close to Massillon/Canton who can help?
Am I right in assuming the P35 board will not recognize the array?

the controllers between the two different chipsets share nothing in common. Your old board used the nvidia RAID controller (nforce), and the P35 will use the ICH*R controller. Netither will read arrays created on the other. I've run into this exact scenario before, the real solution is a standalone hardware RAID card that can be moved from system to system. They're not cheap though, so I understand your predicament. I wish you luck, but I am unable to help, as I no longer own a 680i board, nor do I live near you.

Hey Old Hip, I forgot about you! You still living there off Traphagen? I still drive right past there on my way to work every morning. We bought a house back by Doctors Hospital about a year ago. Man I wish you still had that board...

Hey Old Hip, I forgot about you!
That's cause you've never seen me. Long gray hair half-way down my back, and always have worn clogs for the past 35 years. Hell, I was in Millers Tavern last night and some lady came up to me and said she remembered me from 30 years ago cause I used to go see her neighbor!
That kinda stuff makes me uncomfortable. If a neighbor from 30 yrs ago remembers me, I'll bet the current LE have no problem.

Yep!

I sold it to a guy right out there in Perry. He ain't gonna wanna let ya use it.
Sorry I can't be of more assistance!
