I have a WD 5000 AAKS which is in the first system in my sig.
Going into Vista from a cold boot I find myself in Multi-Word DMA Mode 2.
However if I boot into OS X first and then do a restart and go into Vista then it's in
Ultra DMA Mode 6. Any suggestions as to why Vista won't recognize the correct mode from the get-go?
