I am currently running Vista Home Premium 32 bit and I just received my Vista64 DVD.
When upgrading from 32 to 64, does it perform a 'clean' install?
If not, is there a way to do it, similar to the Vista 'double' install, as outlined in the stickies?
Or should I not even worry about it?
My main concern is that I would prefer to reformat and start fresh.

Thanks.

You have to do a clean install to move from x86 (32bit) to x64 (64bit).

Yes, it does do a complete clean install, especially if you remove the old partitions and then recreate them during the install routine.

I've been running Vista 64 for months with relatively few problems (a few of which were solved by SP1 RC).

Enjoy!

So far, not so bad.
The main thing has been the Creative Drivers for my Audigy 2.
Had to install them twice.
More to come!
And, yes, I need to upgrade my sig.
