I was/is hooked on Q3A but ever since picking this up i havent touched it lol

I just finished up the single player (had to finish up the orange box), and I must say that it was truly amazing. I'm really glad I own this game. Gunna check out the MP on Live later on, not yet though (gotta think of a new gamer tag, aparently my normal one is taken...)

Yeah i ripped thru the single player pretty quick and jumped right into MP live as soon as i got live up its awwwwwwesome, def. worth the $$

I played the MP for a while, got up to rank 47 or 48 and it just got boring.

If you try to play "tactically" and check your flanks, corners etc you will die. If you use the high stamina perk, hip accuracy and a high ROF SMG and just sprint like a mad-man you will own.

Makes no sense to me for a "modern" semi-realistic shooter. (I say semi-realistic, because well it has real weapons and humans, no aliens, made-up guns etc).

Only ran into a couple players like that but I take them down pretty quick most times, Never tried it myself with those perks enabled

I WAS a hardcore PC gamer until I bought my Xbox 360 last month and COD4 over the weekend. WOW- I'm hooked. I think I'm done buying $500.00 video cards from now on. I can't afford PC gaming anymore. COD4 is incredible for the 360.

also if ea would just put up some dedicated servers, and make them country specific i think it would help the game a lot.

my second gripe is the whole 'standing in doorways' issue.. im starting to think people just do it to piss everyone off, its rather annoying :mad:

i cant get myself to play any other game right now, this game is like crack to me as well, but with the late christmas noobs i am reconsidering putting in a different game :(

I have COD4 for the PC, but I think the 360 version is limited to 8 players online? If that is the case, I would assume it's a good thing to have a death cam to keep the action flowing with such a small number of people.

they are easy points.. But when you get stuck on a team full of them it makes you want to rip all your hair out due to the idiocy of the situation.

IMO they need to put killcam on hardcore, so people cant camp their asses off... But for regular they should take it off just since most of the time its bullshit and seems to missplace where the players actually are.

team deathmatch, free for all, domination, mercenary deathmatch, objective games, hardcore games, and oldschool are 12 players (6v6). ground war which is either domination or team deathmatch is 18 players (9v9), then cagematch is 2 players (1v1)

they seriously need bigger maps, more players and dedicated servers then ill be a happy panda.
