I bought this board a year ago and I remember reading problems that people were having with certain types of DDR. Anyways I've just gotten home from school and I've blown the dust off this computer and fired it up for the first time since this summer. The computer hangs up momentarily (consistently atleast 2 or 3 times everytime I play the game) during Civilization IV and Call of Duty 2. I ran memtest back in the spring semester and everything checked out ok, but I'm going to run it again just incase. I've updated the bios and the memory timings and voltage are correct in the bios.
The motherboard is an ASUS MSN Sli Deluxe
Memory CORSAIR XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 Orleans 3800+
VC:BFG 7900GS
Running on XP sp2
Thanks in advance for any feedback

If it is only locking up during gaming it could be other issues such as;

1. Heat
2. Video Drivers
3. GPU
4. PSU
5. Some combination of factors.

What PSU do you have? Let us know how Memtest goes.
