not a console player myself, but when 3 yr old god-daughter comes around, I tend to become one...its a nice trade off when playing with her.
she comes over with her Barbie dolls and I'm just not down with that
So we'll play the PS2 Eyetoy and pop some ballons or kick some ninja or do the window washing game.

Now I got PS3...that ducky game is cool on demo, but:
Questions:

1) what are kewl games for me and her

she doesn't come over often, so getting 2nd controller is not a priority yet, so will one controller do just fine?
no remote but then again I only got one Blu-Ray...plus who comes out with a remote player that doesn't have an on/off button===hello Sony wake the hell up

no FPS for me---old topic---not even going to begin a hate-thread about it

2) what other kewl things can you do with PS3---kinda underground stuff without breaking forum rules

3) can I connect my PS3 thru my pc's lan connection or would it be best to add thru my router (dsl>wireless router>pc setup)?
thanks

I will start off that for the most part, you will probably enjoy playing more with her, than taking turns with her.

I would suggest picking up a second controller, not only for 2 player action, but sometimes its nice to have a back-up controller when the one you’re using runs out of juice. A quick swap and your back to playing while the other is charging.

As for the PS3 remote, there is somewhat a power button. You press the PSButton (the one with the logo on it) to power on the PS3, to turn off your PS3 (if TV is not on) hold down that PSButton for about 3 seconds, press X, then press X one more time and the PS3 will turn off. (Your right though, would of been nicer to just have a power on/off button :P )

You already have Super Rub a Dub, she might also like Calling All Cars. There is a single player mode as well as up to 4 people can play at the same time or play online against people. (not that you want put the 3 year old up against people online)

Super Puzzle Fighter might be a little advanced for a 3yr old, but you never know, some kids catch onto games really fast. Super Puzzle Fighter you can play by yourself or with another person. I have to say, friends I never saw playing this game, get addicted to the 1on1 pretty quickly.

I personally think that Super Star Dust HD is an awesome shooter game (not FPS, more like side scrolling shooter gone global) but for a co-op shooter I think that Blast Factor is overall more fun. Super Star Dust gets pretty hard with 2 people, single player is a top notch. Blast Factor is pretty fun in co-op/battle and up to 4 people.

Those are a few games available from the PSN store for download, almost all of them have a demo available, with I would suggest for almost any game to get a feel for it.

My 3 yr old daughter loves Loco Roco and fl0w. Both heavy motion sensitive games like Rub a Dub so youngsters love it. .

Got a thumbs up for the Simpsons game too, altho she obviously has no idea what is going on lol

awesome contributions...I was dismayed first when I went to BB,CC, Target and they don't carry games for this age group.

Sad, but I hope games like these mentioned gives me hope on things to come next year.
