So today, the trifecta of having cash in my pocket from selling back textbooks, getting a huge paycheck, and a persuasive friend ended up with me at the counter of gamecrazy with a brand new copy of Rock Band for my 360.

I'm in disbelief after we play the first song. This game is incredible! We hooked up our GH3 wireless guitar and had our own 4 player band jammin' away in an instant. We play through the second song and have even more fun. Afterwards when we're picking our next venue, I notice that someone keeps pressing down on their instrument. It didnt take long to realize that my brand new, 2 song-old guitar had a strummer that was broken loose!

We ended up going on the EA website and putting in the order for a new guitar. Supposedly it will be here within two days, but what a bummer! I knew that there were problems with the guitar, I was just hoping that maybe we'd get a few nights worth of play time out of it before it gave. The game is still a lot of fun with the three players though.

welcome to the club, took us 2 days before we blew through our stratocrapper.

be careful of the pedal too.

I have not had any issues with mine, but I do not stomp on it and have an Asian ninja touch. I've cleared hard and am halfway through expert.

I went to a party this weekend where Rockband was setup, played the drums for a bit and a larger fellow than I came and wanted to play. He sat down, played on easy, but was stomping the crud out of the pedal. Next song, he decided to heel stomp it since his calf was hurting and SNAP.

EA's support has been great though. I RMA'ed the drumset as I had to really hit the snare to get it to register. Got the new set in 3 days, the replacement set came with a return label for my flaky set.

I got the replacement for my replacement strat and it seems to be working (finally). Of course, the first replacement took two weeks. Oh well :/

yeah wtf during parts where you have to hit the snare in quick succession i have to hit it towards the top of the pad or only registers a couple of taps

I received my replacement guitar this week after placing the RMA on Sunday. I have not played the drums enough to know if they are defective yet. Here is to hoping they are ok.
