I want to use my Samsung 50" 720p HDTV for my monitor sometimes. I know I only have a 720p so my resolution won't be that great, 1280 x 720. My friend brought a s-video cable and I plugged that in, text was very blurry on the TV. Would a DVI to HDMI cable look better? Should I even bother at this low res? Also, would the TV output audio since its using HDMI? Thanks.

dvi to hdmi would be a better choice.
If the cable is dvi to hdmi only, no audio. the only way to get audio into the tv would be a special DVI to HDMI cable that also had a sound input jack or a seperate cable for audio
