No offense, but this poll has been done oh, maybe 47 times in the past year. You would do yourself well to do research ("search" being the operative word there) and find out what people have been saying about 32 bit vs 64 bit Vista editions for the past year.
We've had quite enough of these polls to last a few years, sooo... do us and yourself a favor and do a bit more research, please. Thanks...

If I don't point out the fact that this type of poll has been done so often, someone else will. So, does it matter who pointed it out first?

Unfortunately, I'll have to agree with bbz_ghost. Why? If you read the Operating Systems forum everyday, you will see that your question is asked more or less everyday.

Took me 3 seconds to do this search (http://hardforum.com/search.php?searchid=7982220)... Heck, all I did was search for "bit" in the titles of some threads (Some are unrelated) but there is enough info there to answer the ups and downs to each version.
By no means is anyone trying to be mean here- but folks get tired of answering the same questions over and over again, when you can take 3 seconds to look up all of the previous threads.

I voted (x64), but you can read my explanation in the countless other threads of the same matter.

My preferance is x64. There are lots of reasons why one should choose x64 over x86, but there are lots of posts here (and elsewhere, I would assume) that would explain it better than me. Search and you shall be rewarded.
With the exception of 1 item: wireless NIC's. There are not very many drivers out there that support 64-bit OS's. I was lucky with my Asus P5WDH deluxe wifi adapter was had Realtek drivers.
For my other Vista computer, I did some research and found drivers for a Linksys WUSB54GC adapter. They worked fine in Vista x64 and sucked in XP x64. I just had to reload these OSs, and I was able to obtain later drivers (I had to modify the ini file myself), which now work perfectly with XP x64, also.

The others pointed out the obvious already, but I'll add another point. Why would you ask a question that has no standardized answer? If I asked you which ice cream was better, chocolate or vanilla, is there a definitive choice, or is it purely opinion?
The answer is, whichever is best for your system and your needs. You decide, and you use the one which is best for you, not what some random people on a message board tell you. Both work great, and both more than likely have drivers available for your hardware.

"Which is better" almost always gives you an opinionated answer (unless it's between VHS or DVD (something of that nature... I can't think of ANY reason VHS is better) Besides- questions that have absolute answers like this aren't asked!).
If you have to ask: there is no absolute answer.
I will say this about x64, however.
The big reason FOR it at this point is future. Supports more RAM (which is what the future holds), and supports future 64 bit programs (which is what the future holds).
Plain and simple as that. Future-proof yourself now, or later. Your choice.
Some could argue "Now" is easier: no changes to make in the future.
Some could argue "Later" is easier: more support for x64 in the future.
(But in my personal opinion (the majority would tell you this as well), the "Now" outweighs the "Later")
Tons of threads out there asked this question as before.
It all depends upon what fits your needs and your system (EDIT- and nobody can answer that better than yourself).
