Samsung's 64GB SATA II SSD drive (http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/08/samsungs-64gb-sata-ii-ssd-drive-hands-on/) now that is sWexy! :p wondering how fast it is... kinda pricy tho.

They are super fast. From the readings I have been doing they are about twice as fast as a standard SATAII disk (8mb cache 300G seagate I think I read)
Only downside is their price :(
Sucks because its flash memory (although a newer version)which has already been around for awhile

Fast in what respect? Anandtech's review of the Supertalent SSD (http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2982) was a little sobering. Where did you read that they are `super fast'?

That article is of an older model

This has about twice the speed of the article you referenced.

If those numbers are indeed correct and apply to sustained transfers across the whole disk, I'd love to own one.
